About this masterclass

What the session covers

Heat stress, erratic rainfall and water scarcity are reshaping crop production across India. This masterclass examines what these changes mean for yields and farm incomes, and how water-smart farming, resilient agronomy and sustainable value chains can help farmers adapt. No agriculture background is needed to take part.

What you will learn

Climate risks to crops. How heat stress, erratic rainfall and water scarcity are reshaping crop productivity in India.
Water-smart farming. How micro-irrigation, fertigation and precision water management build resilience at farm level.
Resilient agronomy. How crop planning, soil health and adaptive practices reduce climate risk.
Farm to value chain. How sustainable sourcing and agri-food partnerships can strengthen farmer incomes.
